Staff Development aims to promote and support an emerging learning culture that enhances individual and institutional capability. The Staff Development Unit supports the development of all staff across the four campuses of the University and is responsible for the administration of a number of University developmental schemes, including Developmental Appraisal Review and Continuing Professional Development. The “Training” area within the new CoreHR Portal is not yet live, can members of staff who wish to attend any of our training courses please complete our APPLICATION FORM and forward the completed, authorised form to Staff Development, Room 2F07, Jordanstown. .
Staff Development is tasked by the University with supporting the development of all staff. The Head of Staff Development and the Professional Development Managers are responsible (along with line managers) for the identification of need, design and delivery of developmental activities.
